For each of the AIC country teams, you'll find character profiles below. In addition, you'll see country (or organization) profiles, timelines of important events related to the Middle East and, in many cases, a quick reference, "what you need to know before playing this country" page.
Before you get to the team/character profiles, you'll find links to a variety of documents about the simulation itself:
- One talks about the Strategic Goals Statement, your very first step in the simulation.
- Another describes how private communications--known as communiques--work.
- Still another talks about your Action Desk, which is your gateway both to the primary mode of public, in-game communication--the press release, and the way in which you ultimately make things happen in the game--the action form, along with the means by which you update your National Security Advisors on your activity, the weekly report.
- Both Press Releases & Action Forms have their own descriptive sections.
- Finally, there's a section on a crucial aspect of public diplomacy in AIC: Winning the Public Debate: Publicly Responding to Updates and Press Releases. Find out why making such public responses HAS to be a part of your plan.
